Il 28 aprile ci siamo svegliati con un sole meraviglioso... partiamo? Si direzione Umbria. Prenotato su booking e via!! Siamo arrivati all'Ariete senza sapere cosa ci aspettava ed è andata benissimo! Martina ed Andreas sono gentili, disponibili e discreti. L'appartamento è luminoso, arredato con cura e accogliente. Ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio. La zona è perfetta per visitare Perugia e Gubbio che distano mezz'ora di macchina, senza dimenticare che Montone è un borgo incantevole.

Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti dai proprietari che non abbiamo piu visto in 3 giorni di permanenza, se non in qualche rarissima e breve occasione. Ci hanno assegnato un appartamento differente rispetto a quello prenotato e inoltre la colazione inclusa che ci era stata promessa non ci è mai stata servita, lasciandoci cosi a dover cercare bar ogni mattina. Lenzuola macchiate, bidet,piano cottura e riscaldamento non funzionanti, tralasciando il fatto che il ristorante sottostante è stato chiuso nonostante avessimo chiesto di poter mangiare li. Una permanenza pessima. Non consigliato!

Siamo stati in questo agriturismo per una sola notte, purtroppo, e il mese di novembre. Atmosfera magica e accogliente la sera, arredato con gusto e passione. I proprietari disponibili e simpatici, rapporto qualità prezzo buono! Immerso in un bosco con un giardino curato nei minimi particolari, bellissimi i boccioni in vetro ovunque😃

Ein wirklich wunderbares Fleckchen Erde inmitten wunderschöner Natur. Am Pool gibt es bequeme Liegen und Sonnensegel, so dass man es auch bei Hitze gut aushalten kann. Die Wohnung war super groß, liebevoll eingerichtet und angenehm kühl.
Andreas und Martina sind total nett und aufgeschlossen, sind immer ansprechbar gewesen und insgesamt einfach super unkompliziert.

An einem Abend haben wir im
hauseigenen Restaurant gegessen und Martina hat super leckeres Essen gezaubert!

Der Ausblick auf die Stadt Montone ist toll. Diese erreicht man (anders als Google Maps es angibt) in ca 20 Minuten zu Fuß um dort bei Pizza und/oder Aperitivo das rege Treiben auf dem Dorfplatz zu beobachten.

Es war wirklich schön - danke, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften.

My husband, two children and I stayed at L'Ariete in early October 2014 for 14 days. This beautifully restored and tastefully furnished house is centrally located in the foothills of Montone within an easy drive to all the interesting towns in Tuscany and Umbria namely, Siena, Assisi, Perugia, etc. ||We had a wonderful holiday and were really impressed by the property and facilities, particularly the design and decoration of our room. Andreas and his wife Martina are terrific hosts: funny, fascinating, genuine, welcoming and very helpful with planning trips and advising about special events that are taking place locally. We felt relaxed and at home and it was a pleasure to spend time there. The grounds are beautiful and carefully maintained, the swimming pool teriffic after a busy day, and the view of Montone's lights from the pool at dusk spectacular. We didn't want to leave and we're looking forward to going back and staying longer next time!

Es gibt nur eine Möglichkeit, unseren Aufenthalt hier zu beschreiben: traumhaft- und alle unsere Erwartungen haben sich erfüllt. Hier bleibt eigentlich kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Das ganze Gelände ist wunderbar zu Fuße des wunderschönen Ortes Montone gelegen, und rundherum ist man von sattem Grün Mittelitaliens umgeben. Das schafft direkt eine Grundstimmung, die nach Urlaub und Erholung schreit. Darüber hinaus ist das Gelände von L’ariete wunderbar ‘eingerichtet’. Dezente Kunstinstallationen zeugen von gutem Geschmack der Gastgeber. Das Auge fühlt sich wohl, und genießt mit.

Auch die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und angenehm eingerichtet. Für Selbstversorgung in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. (Es ist sogar möglich eine regionale Gemüsekiste oder eine Kühlschrankfüllung für den Start zu bestellen)

Ein wirklich tolles Plus ist das Restaurant, in welchem die Gastgeber leckere italienische Speisen herrichten, die unter dem duftenden Jasminreigen genossen werden können, während die Grillen ihr Konzert geben. Italien-Erlebnis pur.

Wir hatten jedenfalls wirklich tolle 9 Tage bei Andreas und Martina. Herzlichen Dank

Arriving at L'Ariete from noisy, polluted London and months spent recovering from a foot operation was a total relief. My husband, one year old son and I instantly felt relaxed and welcome at L'Ariete. We felt doubly welcome when we wandered up to the town of Montone and our son was welcomed like a superstar by those we met in the streets! Andreas and Martina were perfect hosts, we particularly enjoyed Martina's amazing cooking and I loved her skills in style and design, everywhere you look there is something beautiful to meet the eye. We enjoyed an amazing meal in the Ariete courtyard for our wedding anniversary, couldn't have wished for a more perfect setting or delicious food. For us, whilst the restaurant, apartment and surrounds were all amazing, the pool was the real highlight. The perfectly thought out space with shaded areas, beautiful pool and lovely loungers meant that I could rest my aching foot and watch my son play in the shade and enjoyed immensely seeing him learning to paddle in the pool. Finally the apartment was incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable - oh and Andreas didn't even get too angry that I very stupidly put my hand through a window on our second day there... which must be one of the more annoying things a guest could do in a rented apartment. Thank you L'Ariete we loved our week's stay.
