We (my adult daughter and I) had a fabulous time at the estancia. The horses are exceptional -- the best horses we have ridden on any riding holiday. The pasos peruanos are especially smooth and comfortable to ride (particularly Aurora ❤️). The terrain is varied and lovely. ||The accommodations were charming and very comfortable. They even provide complimentary laundry service on a daily basis!||The food is very fresh and tasty. We are both vegans but the chef was very adept at providing lovely vegan options. And, of course, the wines and cocktails were excellent. ||Most importantly, Kevin and Georgia were wonderful company at meal and cocktail times and on rides. We are so glad we had the opportunity to stay at the estancia!

Accommodation is characterful both in the lovely main house and bungalows and comfortable with every convenience. The rides are varied and interesting and as a rather rusty rider, I appreciated the slower rides. The horses are superb, very well looked after and unbelievably sure footed on the rugged terrain. I rode several different horses during the week,,Paso and Criollo and cannot praise them enough. The gauchos and guides looked after us without fail. I have rarely felt so comfortable or so confident in the ability of my horse. Some of the terrain is challenging but they never wavered. Most are bred on the estancia and are a testament to Kevin Begg and his breeding policies. Food was outstanding, most of it home grown especially the beef from the free ranging Aberdeen Angus herd. Cooking on the BBQ happened frequently but the variety of food served to such a high standard was impressive. The wine is pretty good too! Views from whichever direction are incredible. So beautiful.

THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH- Magical setting with truly unparalleled views, service and aura about the place. It feels like an extended family home but with the service and food quality of a 5 star hotel. Nothing is too much to ask, you can have any food or drink you'd need and they surprise you with spontaneous live music, cooking classes, BBQ under the stars...Georgia and Kevin run their team immaculately and the horses are so well looked after and beautifully well-behaved. Their guides are brilliant fun and so are the gauchos. I was an experienced rider and my husband a beginner and we were galloping together on the first ride. No one ride is the same and you see and experience so many different things, swimming in pools, herding the cattle with the gauchos, asados with the best beef and wine you can imagine. Los Pots has single-handedly converted my husband into a horse-lover and it was the highlight of our entire 3 week honeymoon in Argentina and Brazil, we cannot wait to go back!

From the time we were met at the airport until we left we were made very welcome and looked after. The accommodation, meals, and drink were exceptional and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. ||||The horses are Criollos or Paso Peruano. having been raised on the Estancia and living out on the hills they are very surefooted. They were well mannered, forward going & very soft mouthed. The riding was over some rough terrain with rocks among the tall clumps of grasses. Sometimes up and down steep slopes and through small streams. The views at the top of the Sierra Chicas were panoramic. It was incredible to ride over a varied landscape without meeting any other humans - dog walkers, cyclists or hikers!!! The rides were geared to the level of the rider's experience - slow or faster. Mainly walking but with long canters for those that wanted them. The gauchos (Argentinians) and guides (mainly English girls 21+) were all very helpful. You can also have polo lessons here. ||||Evening entertainment is some times organised - wine tasting, a musical evening or a cookery demonstration. ||||With many thanks to Kevin Begg and all his team for making our stay one of the best holidays we have ever had. I can thoroughly recommend the Estancia!!!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the estancia. We are beginner horse riders and the staff organised special rides for us to suit our level. Of course there are rides for the avid horse rider too. We saw gorgeous scenery on our rides, led by one of the estancia’s working gauchos and supported by an English speaking team member who can communicate with you and the gaucho.||‘Back on the ranch’ it’s delicious food, plenty of drink, and lots of lovely conversations with other guests, estancia team members, and of course Kevin and Georgia - the mighty management duo. The team are always happy to help and constantly ask if you would like a drink or food. ||Would highly recommend a stay. There are many outfits in the market, but this is an authentic ranch with gauchos whose first job is to attend to the estancia’s cattle and horses. The rides are just a bonus for those who visit!

What a beautiful place, oozing character and history, a very personalised service with a wonderful team, the nicest food we ate in Argentina, and a huge array of horses to cater for all levels of experience. Thoroughly recommended.
