Truly a wonderful experience all round. We visited Monterosato as a family of 3 so our daughter could ride.

The grounds, the accommodation and the riding were all beyond our expectations.

Franco and Isabella are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make sure all is well. There is genuine care from them and their entire team.

We ate out locally and also made food in the well equipped kitchen in our apartment.

Cleanliness of the apartment, yard, tack room etc was impeccable.

The talents of Joachen and his team took our daughter to the next level in a few days.

Little peace of heaven in the Italian countryside, we had a wonderful week staying here Franco and Isabella where amazing hosts making us feel at home in there beautiful house and gardens. The horses and facilities are amazing jochen and nerea our instructors were equally as good super patient making sure we got the most out of our lessons and made sure we were smiling while doing it. Would highly recommend coming here whether you’re a rider or not and we will definitely be back next year.

Franco, Isabella and team were wonderful hosts. Accomodation was lovely. The riding and club facilites are super high quality and the tuition was first class - great to see some real passion in the instructors - my daughter loved it and her riding improved measurably over the week. You will not find a better school of equitation (mainly jumping) & accommodation anywhere, globally. I have been coming to Monterosato Country House for three years, and each year my stay gets longer: 7 days, 14 days, this time one month. Some people come for three nights, and that is also perfect!

You ride twice a day with Jochen, who is one of the most positive, inspiring, patient and kind instructors I have even met. From his philosophy of caring for the horse, building partnership and trust, to pushing you to your limits because he sees the potential (in you) that you may not. Every year, I leave feeling accomplished and excited to return the following summer.

If you are not a rider, or a partner of a rider there is plenty to do. Franco & Isabella have built the most picturesque country homes, set in the hills of Fermo, where you will get the best nights sleep, in the most comfortable beds and enjoy access to a gorgeous infinity pool and hot tub. There is an outdoor gym for fitness fanatics.

For those of you that drive, you can sit at a beach club in Porto San Giorgio, go visit the many ancient towns of the Marche for aperitivo, while feasting on the best the land and sea has to offer. The region itself if one of Italy best kept secrets.

Housing was brand new, spacious and with many amenities;, the food was impeccable and the riding instruction was superb. Only thing I would say is to look at the weather outlook before you book. We felt very welcome and only wish there was more time!
